Artist Bio:
With a fashion history dating back as far as she can remember ~ starting with her Nana’s eccentric jewellery box up until opening her own boutique ~ has given Kristin a leading edge for design and colour. Kristin’s heart has always been in fashion with a flare to create her own jewellery line. Kristin started out beading and enjoys using organic materials, natural elements and recycled components.
After inheriting her Nana’s buttons the “unbuttoned and up cycled” jewellery line was born. Kristin’s one of a kind and unique jewellery designs are all created with antique and retro buttons and each piece tells a story from the past.
Kristin’s work can be found at the Art Gallery of Hamilton, Art Etc. at the Burlington Art Gallery, Angie Strauss Gallery in Niagara on the Lake, Art Gallery of Grimsby and many high end boutiques across Canada.
This self taught artist, who works from her home based studio, resides in the Niagara Region in Ontario and is proud to offer Canadian made wearable art.
